ECP Asset Management (ECP) has appointed Romith Manju to the newly created role of investment analyst in the global equities team, effective immediately.
In this role, Manju will be a part of the global equities team, conducting extensive research and screening global companies to identify quality growth companies for the ECP Global Growth Fund.
Manju joins ECP from Pemba Capital Portfolio Company (Stannards) where he worked as an M&A lead executing investments in the professional services sector for over a year. Prior to that he spent two and a half years executing investments across technology and software sectors at Constellation Software.
ECP chairman and chief investment officer, Dr Manny Pohl AM, says the appointment of Manju to the global equities team will strengthen the firm’s expertise in this asset class as it scales its ECP Global Growth Fund.
“Romith has over 7 years’ experience in financial services, with a particular focus on researching of global equities.
“He has a proven track record of finding great investment ideas and will play a crucial role in supporting the global equities team by diligently researching and identifying quality global companies for the fund to invest in.
“This appointment is another stepping stone for ECP as we look to continue to expand and grow our business and continually focus on offering quality long-term strategies to our clients,” says Pohl.
Manju holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of New South Wales.
