During March 2012, 7 new ETFs were quoted – the largest monthly issuance of ETFs since October / November 2007.
Six of the new ETFs covered fixed income and were issued by Russell Investments and iShares. Other ETF issuers such as Vanguard are expected to quote their fixed income ETF offering
soon. The 7th new ETF was issued by BetaShares and provides exposure to high interest Australian cash.
