NAB Wealth has announced Charles Smith as the new Business Growth Manager, Strategic Alliances & Growth.
Charles brings with him 25 years of experience within the wealth management industry, having held senior roles with ING DIRECT and ANZ Wealth.
NAB Wealth Advice Partnerships General Manager Ross Barnwell said it was vital for the business to continue to grow its adviser network, and give more Australians the opportunity to seek quality financial advice.
“The advice landscape is changing and we need to ensure we continue to deliver a valued and enduring experience for both advisers and consumers.
“We aim to be the licensee partner of choice based on our ability to support our businesses through better technology, practical customer insights, and a culture of innovation, and I have no doubt Charles will play an integral role in the evolution of our business.”
Speaking of his appointment Charles said: “I’ve been in the wealth management business for close to 25 years, and I am passionate about creating a network that provides high quality, trusted financial advice to Australians.”
NAB Wealth Advice Partnerships operates five aligned licensee businesses – Apogee, Meritum, MLC Financial Planning, Garvan and Godfrey Pembroke – and includes over 600 self-employed advice businesses, with over 1,100 advisers.
