Centuria Capital Limited (Centuria) is pleased to announce the appointment today of Mr Garry Charny to the board of Centuria Capital Limited.
Mr Charny practised as a barrister at the Sydney commercial bar until 1995 when he founded corporate advisory firm Wolseley Corporate where he remains as Managing Director. He has deep experience in strategic corporate advice, implementation and corporate legal issues.He has previous board experience with other ASX listed entities and the directors of Centuria welcome him to the board.
Centuria also announces, that effective 30 March 2016, the existing Centuria chairman, Mr Roger Dobson, will step down and Mr Charny will assume the chairmanship of Centuria Capital Limited.
Mr Dobson joined the Centuria board in 2007 and has played a leading role in the repositioning and growth of the company over that time. Mr Dobson retires owing to other work commitments and the board wishes to thank him for the leadership and commitment he has shown to the company and wish him well for the future.
