The Banking Technology Awards have announced the finalists for 2018, including Ignition Advice as a finalist in the category Best Use of IT in Private Banking / Wealth Management.

The Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the use of IT in financial services worldwide, and the people who make it happen.

“This is an exciting time for Ignition as our international business is developing and our reputation is growing at a rapid rate. To be a finalist in a respected and highly competitive global event such as the Banking Technology Awards recognises Ignition as a rising global player in the fintech space” said Manish Prasad, Group CEO, Ignition Advice.

Ignition is the only Australian-founded firm to have reached the Award’s finalist stage, and the only fintech to have been selected as a finalist in the category Best Use of IT in Private Banking / Wealth Management. Other finalists in this category are DBS Bank, JP Morgan, Raiffeisen Bank International and Saxo Bank.

“As a relatively young company, it is a huge achievement for Ignition to be in a peer group including the world’s largest financial institutions and technology firms. We see this as reflective of the quality and innovation of the services we provide and the partners we are attracting” said Alan Quinlan, CEO, Ignition Advice Ireland.

Founded in 2008 in Sydney, Australia, Ignition Advice has a well established Australian business providing highly customised, bank grade, SaaS technology for enterprise clients. The Australian team currently provides member engagement solutions and journeys for two of the top tier industry superannuation (pension) funds, and has a strong history of working with leading institutions.

Ignition Advice offers international customers a multi-currency, multi-language platform, customised to local customs and regulatory compliance requirements. Ignition Advice launched its European business in 2017, opening an office in Dublin, Ireland. Led by Alan Quinlan, Ignition Advice Ireland CEO, the business has quickly secured a tier one banking client, with further enterprise partnerships to follow in the near future.
