The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is thrilled to announce their Insurance Risk Management Study Course will take place in Melbourne, this March. This will be the first time the course has been held in Australia.

The Insurance Risk Management Study Course is a unique two-day guided learning experience, specifically designed for mid-to-senior-level insurance professionals, looking to deepen their expertise in risk management.

Participants will gain practical insights to navigate complex risks, protect client assets, and deliver strategic advice when developing insurance portfolios.

Upon completion of the study course participants will be able to:

  • Identify risks and analyse their causes.
  • Synthesise assessment results to create appropriate and effective risk management strategies, solutions and monitoring approaches.
  • Effectively communicate risk analysis, findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of risk management strategies, solutions, and monitoring approaches and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Demonstrate ethical and professional behaviour throughout the risk management process, including confidentiality, integrity, and respect for diversity and cultural differences.

“This course reflects ANZIIF’s commitment to advanced technical education for those which hold more senior positions within the sector”, says ANZIIF CEO Katrina Shanks.

This marks the fourth iteration of the Insurance Risk Management Study Course, with the program having previously been successfully run in Vietnam, Auckland and Christchurch.

The Insurance Risk Management Study Course will be held from Wednesday 5th of March, to Thursday 6th of March at the Hilton in Melbourne.
