Link Wealth has taken another decisive step in its national growth strategy, announcing the acquisition of Xponential Advisory, a boutique financial planning firm servicing more than 185 client families across Australia.
The acquisition brings with it approximately $500,000 in annual revenue, and will see Link Wealth establish a new office in Burleigh Heads, Gold Coast, expanding its footprint into Queensland.
Stephen Sloane, Managing Director of Link Wealth, said “We’re incredibly pleased to welcome Xponential Advisory to Link Wealth. What stood out to us wasn’t just the quality of the business, but the calibre of relationships they’ve built over time, and it’s a privilege to now support those relationships through our national network.”
The decision to expand into the Gold Coast was driven by a clear need for greater access to financial advice across Queensland. Many communities remain underserved, with limited access to financial support and guidance.
According to the Queensland Government’s Financial Literacy and Resilience program, there is a recognised need to improve financial knowledge and build financial capacity among Queenslanders, indicating gaps in access to financial services.
Link Wealth sees strong potential to bridge this gap by providing consistent, high-quality advice and supporting the next generation of advisers through its national platform.
This latest move comes on the heels of Link Wealth’s February 2025 acquisition of a 60 per cent stake in Sky Advisers, a Hobart-based advisory firm with a nearly four-decade legacy.
Together, these deals reflect Link Wealth’s commitment to building a national presence by partnering with like-minded firms that deliver high-quality advice and demonstrate strong long-term potential.
The firm’s financial adviser Brendan Dilworth will remain in place under the Link Wealth structure, ensuring seamless continuity of advice and an uninterrupted client experience.
“This is not just a change of brand, it’s a transformation in capability. With the support of Link Wealth’s back-office platform Levera Solutions, we’re able to help not only Brendan Dilworth but future advisers that join the team to focus more time on client outcomes and less time on managing operational complexity. It also means we can support more people across Queensland with the advice they need, when they need it.”
