Igneo Infrastructure Partners (Igneo), the direct infrastructure team of First Sentier Group, today announces the launch of the Igneo Australia New Zealand Private Infrastructure Fund (‘APIF’ or the ‘Fund’).

For the first time, advised retail and wholesale investors in Australia will have access to Igneo’s infrastructure capability – previously only available to institutional investors.

APIF provides exposure to a diversified portfolio of predominantly Australian and New Zealand infrastructure assets through its underlying strategy, the Australia New Zealand Diversified Infrastructure Fund.[1]

The underlying strategy offers exposure to a portfolio of assets across sectors including renewable energy, water and wastewater, digital infrastructure, distributed energy and embedded network solutions, and transport and mobility, while seeking to balance growth potential and optimisation opportunities.

Danny Latham, Partner and Head of Igneo Australia and New Zealand said, “Private infrastructure has traditionally been limited to institutional investors but can be an attractive asset class for those seeking long-term capital growth as well as diversification and inflation protection characteristics.

“With APIF, private infrastructure is now within reach to a broader investor base, enabling advised and wholesale investors in Australia to benefit from Igneo’s global track record and active asset management capabilities.”
