Mutual Trust strengthens national footprint with Partner appointments across Sydney and Adelaide
Mutual Trust, Australia’s leading multi-family office, is delighted to announce two new Partners, strengthening its leadership presence across New South Wales and South Australia.
Kirsten Taylor-Martin joins the firm as Partner, Family Office Advisory based in Sydney. An accredited advisor with Family Business Australia and the Family Firm Institute, Kirsten brings more than 30 years of family business and family office experience and a strong passion to educating and empowering family businesses and individuals.
Kirsten joins Mutual Trust from Grant Thorton, where she was Partner & National Head of Family Business and Family Office Consulting. In this role, she was responsible for thought leadership including the production of the biennial Family Business Survey, and helped families grow and secure their businesses for future generations.

Also joining the firm as Partner, Tax & Accounting in Adelaide is Claire van Malland. Bringing more than 18 years’ tax experience, Claire will lead Mutual Trust’s South Australian Tax & Accounting practice, utilising her deep expertise advising privately owned and high-net-worth groups on complex Australian tax matters.
Claire was previously a Director, Private Tax at EY, where she led the Adelaide Fringe Benefits Tax practice and supported clients through ATO reviews and audits, including matters under the ATO’s Next 5,000 program.
