Regulation Update: General Insurance, Life Insurance and SuperannuationWHEN: 8.30am – 5.00pm WHERE: Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney WHAT: A one-day seminar featuring three regulation update sessions across General Insurance, Life Insurance and Superannuation In a period of substantial regulatory change actuaries and industry leaders within the general insurance, life insurance and superannuation industries will reflect on the Stronger Super reforms as well as LAGIC and ICAAP implementation. They will also announce policy priorities for the year ahead and give updates on transitions to new prudential requirements. Lively panel discussions will question whether we are at risk of too much regulation, the impact of regulatory changes and how these may shape the future of each industry. The inaugural Actuaries Institute Regulation Update is led by industry experts and has key presentations from the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) who will provide insights into what keeps the regulators up at night and what’s on their radar.
