About Smarter Business Processes

Insights from a Financial Planning Business Model that Challenges the Accepted Norms, with Shane Hayes

Involved in the Financial Planning industry since 2002, over the past 12 months, Shane Hayes has embarked on his own self-licencing journey.

Working as both as Financial Planner and a Business Coach for a couple of the large institutional Dealer Groups, he realised that there has to be changes made to the way Financial Planners engage effectively with their clients … and … many industry participants have been hesitant to make the necessary changes due to political intervention and their own self-interest.

Shane is working to implement a business model that challenges the accepted norms around planning, investing and client recruitment. Technology plays a major role in building systems and processes aimed at delivering an effective and efficient experience to his clients … ultimately aimed at allowing people to live extraordinary lives (as big or as small as that may be).

Better, Faster, Smarter – Tomorrow’s Financial Planning Firm Today, with Melissa Voss

In our upcoming presentation we’ll uncover a range of hidden efficiencies and new ways of thinking to help you build a better practice and stay ahead of the pack. We’ll step you through what we’ve witnessed firsthand by working with accounting and financial planners all around Australia, exploring a series of process improvements that will boost your team’s productivity, and give them the technological resources they need to engage in critical tasks like problem solving, client support and business development.

By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with new ideas and solutions to reduce the administrative burden associated with tasks that are vital to your practice, but continue to distract you team from what matters, including:

• Statement of Advice and Record of Advice information compilation
• Work planning and task management
• Client relationship management
• Document creation
• Capacity forecasting
• Commission reporting
