Meet our guest speaker 

Liz Trotter’s career is a testament to the life-changing power of financial advice. An adviser for 15 years and managing partner of an Adelaide practice, Triple A, for six, Liz empowers women financially through her caring, client-centric approach, the example of her own commercial success and her considerable pro-bono and community work with women.

Liz strongly believes in raising financial literacy among women. As well as building her individual clients’ skills, she holds workshops that arm women with the skills and confidence they need to take control of their finances.

As a businesswoman, Liz runs a commercially successful, award-winning practice, which also gives back to its community. The firm dedicates 10% of its annual working hours to not-for-profit work. For Liz, this has included taking on pro-bono clients, fund-raising activities like her annual Crazy Ladies Lunch, extensive volunteer work with the Salvation Army, and delivering life-changing programs like She Future, which helps women gain the financial skills and resources they need to leave abusive situations.

Liz’s efforts as an adviser, business owner and advocate for women have been recognised nationally and internationally. She won Financial Wisdom’s Women and Financial Planning Award in 2014 and was named Risk Adviser of the Year in Australia’s Women in Finance Awards.

Liz has also been recognised at the prestigious annual Stevie® Awards for Women in Business in New York City for two years running. In 2017, Liz was awarded in the following three categories:

• Women Helping Women – Business
• Women Helping Women – Non-Profit
• Female Entrepreneur of the Year – Small Business.

This is by no means a women’s only event. We encourage and welcome our male colleagues to join us, bring the women in your office along, and broaden their industry contacts. Having men’s support can only add greater perspective and value to all involved.
