This year the Inspire Community are celebrating 5 years, something we are all very proud of. In 2013 the AFA launched our Inspire Community of Practice, which continues to go from strength to strength, increasing the number of women in the AFA membership by nearly 30%. It is now recognised as a powerhouse for women in financial advice.
The partnership between AFA & TAL has seen many women nominated for the Female Excellence in Advice Award, bringing together an extraordinary award alumni that continue to be contributors to the advice profession today.
AFA Inspire has a focus of growing and inspiring women, both seeking and delivering advice, to have an authentic voice in a trusted and supportive environment.
We do this through collaboration and connecting with each other to shine the light on women in the financial advice profession.
By creating a platform of inclusion our mission is to inspire more women into adviser and leadership roles, and also to think about how we encourage women to seek quality financial advice.
This year at the Inspire Roadshow we are pleased to continue our relationship with TAL and also have State Street Global and La Trobe join us on tour.
Our program focuses on inspiring the future generation of financial advisers and how we can encourage more women to seek financial advice. Our aim is to inspire you to help us change futures together.
Your feedback counts. We want you at this roadshow to provide us with your thoughts on how we can continue to better assist women in engaging with their financial wellbeing.
Women learn differently and have different financial challenges; the Inspire community can provide a voice of understanding, leadership and support where it is needed most.I look forward to seeing you all around the country.
