The largest social and networking event for the South Australian insurance industry, the South Australian Charity Luncheon attracts a large number of industry professionals.

Now in its 44th year, the luncheon has gained an enviable reputation as one of the key charity and networking events on the South Australian calendar and offers the opportunity to meet like-minded industry professionals while supporting the local community.

In 2017, the event will again be raising funds for SIDS and Kids SA. Last year the luncheon raised more than $8,000 for SIDS and Kids SA.

SIDS and Kids SA is dedicated to saving the lives of babies and children during pregnancy, birth, infancy and childhood, and to supporting bereaved families. SIDS and Kids SA has been providing support to families for 40 years and is the only bereavement support organisation providing free professional ongoing support to these families. SIDS and Kids SA does not receive any government funding and therefore relies on the support of the community through fundraising and donations to ensure their services can continue.

Held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, the ticket price includes a two-course luncheon with beer, wine and soft drinks. Fundraising activities include a silent auction, wine wall, raffle and scotch bottle coin toss.
