Hear from Thomas Kelly, Business Development Manager, Insignia Financial, as he presents the findings from a Financial Freedom Report commissioned by Insignia Financial in conjunction with McCrindle Research. This engaging presentation will delve into the changing aspirations of Australians in a post-pandemic, high-inflation environment.

The research, conducted by social research agency McCrindle, explores the aspirations of Australians across generations, genders, and demographics, with a focus on current sentiments around finances. Kevin O’Connor, Business Development Management, Lazard Asset Management, will present an insightful session grounded in the history of markets and the indicators we can glean from the past to navigate some of the most challenging investment conditions in the last 25 years. In this presentation, Kevin will cover the significant changes in market conditions (high inflation, reducing profit margins, increased volatility) compared to the 2010s, and if we require a new investing playbook to generate better client outcomes.

We will look back in market history to the 1970s which draw parallels to the current situation in the 2020s. CPD hours will be available for this event.
