This year, we’re thrilled to commemorate International Women’s Day with a focus on empowerment under the theme: ‘Count Her In: Accelerating Gender Equality Through Economic Empowerment.’

Returning to grace us with her talent and motivation, the remarkable speed painter and speaker, Sarah Rowan, will be featured. Additionally, our event will host a distinguished panel comprising lawyers Emma Johnson and Zoe McQuillan from Cowell Clark Lawyers, along with expert negotiator and lawyer Mia Madafferi from Grey Rock Consulting. Together, they will delve into discussions on ensuring equal opportunities and navigating salary negotiations.

The panel will explore real-life case studies, shedding light on the legal rights held by both employees and employers concerning issues such as bullying, sexism, and ageism in the workplace. This promises to be an insightful discussion, not only benefiting attendees directly but also providing valuable insights for advisers in the room that may prove beneficial to their clients.

Proceeds raised from fundraising on the day will go towards The Equanimity Project an Australian pioneer in advocating for women and families escaping domestic violence and facing homelessness.
