Key Issues to Maximise your Client Review Process
With the ramifications of FoFA still to be finalised, one thing is clear – client retention is going to be critical to practice profitability. One of the key interactions between advisers and clients is the review meeting. Dismissed by some as merely a ‘tea and biscuits’ conversation, more advisers are discovering how powerful these meetings can be and how they can be both an effective retention and referral tool. This interactive session will look at ways to re-define the client review meeting, specifically by:
· Positioning the meeting correctly and setting the right agenda
· Getting to the underlying issues with clients
· Demonstrating your ongoing value
· Using appropriate client engagement tools and techniques
John Nolan of Russell Investments will lead this discussion about making client review meetings memorable, practical and engaging for both advisers and their clients.
The FPA Difference
FPA Board Member, Neil Kendall CFP® will provide an update on the FPA’s work around transitioning financial planning into a universally respected profession.
You will leave this breakfast session with four clear strategies that you can use to improve your client reviews and add value to your client relationships. As well, you will also be very clear on what the FPA is doing for you and the profession.
