The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) is the longest running professional association for financial advisers. The AFA are setting up a mentoring program for aspiring advisers who are new to the industry, and looking to develop their skills and expand their network.

As part of this program you’ll be partnered with another young gun from the industry, and will be mentored over the course of 12 months through a combination of live online sessions and quarterly networking events.

You have been nominated as someone who would benefit from participating in this program, and we would love to extend an invitation to you to participate.

Program details:

• The program will run for 12 Months from October 2016
• The program will involve monthly meetings with your mentor which will be held via video conference
• You’ll be matched with like-minded Mentors and Aspirants with great support from the AFA
• As part of the program there will be quarterly networking events where you build you network and share and learn with fellow program participants

The first event in the program is the commencement event in October, details below. At this event we are going to showcase our members so you can get to know them better, explain the details of the program, and how it’s all going to run. This will also be a great opportunity to network with other new industry entrants and some of the industry’s leading advisers.

Note: The qualifying criteria for the program are that you’ve been working in the industry for more than four months, and less than two years.
