What do Storm, Westpoint and some of our banks have in common?
The FPA Tasmania Chapter, would like to invite you to an Ethics Member Seminar, on “Ethical resolution of conflicts within financial advice!” at the University in Launceston on Thursday 18 August.
The failure of financial advice has caused politicians, the government, the regulator and the media to question the credibility of financial planners. The FPA Tasmania Chapter, in association with the University of Tasmania is addressing this issue by providing a 3 hour professional development session on the ethical resolution of conflicts in financial advice.
The University of Tasmania is working with the FPA to apply its research and teachings to the practical application of financial advice in our community. The session will be facilitated by Dr Rob Macklin, MBA Director, School of Business and Economics, University of Tasmania.
To maintain your FPA accreditation as a financial planning practitioner you are required to undertake 3 hours of professional development in ethics each triennium. This session will provide 3 CPD hours in ethics!
