The Western Australia Chapter Committee is delighted to invite you to attend the Women in Wealth Lunch, on Wednesday 2 May at Fraser’s Restaurant.

Our guest speaker Michelle Cowan, is Australia’s leading female AFL coach who will speak about “Creating opportunity for yourself and others, through strong leadership and a defined team culture”.

The presentation will be relevant to everyone who is striving for success in life, as well as in business. We encourage women and men to attend, and we welcome all who support diversity in our growing profession.

Michelle’s impressive list of accomplishments includes:

1. At just 21, Michelle became the first female AFL-accredited coach in Australia, going on to coach in the Western Australia Football League and put West Perth through their paces.
2. She managed staff of 150 through a $10.3 million redevelopment of the Craigie Leisure Centre – with nationally aware-winning results.
3. She is the managing director of her own national training company, working with some of the biggest names in Australian sport.
4. In 2013, Michelle was awarded Football Woman of the Year for her significant contribution to the game. At the time she was Assistant Coach at South Fremantle Football Club, Head Coach of WA State Team and Head Coach of Inaugural Melbourne football Club – Women’s Team.

Last year’s event was a resounding success, and sold out quickly. We encourage all advisers, support staff and like-minded professionals to attend – men and women!

This event will help raise funds for Future2, FPA’s charitable foundation that aims to create a brighter future for young disadvantaged Australians in need.
