Appointed Assistant Treasurer in December 2014, Josh Frydenberg has had a long and distinguished career across the public and private sectors.
An Honours graduate in both Law and Economics at Melbourne’s Monash University, Josh completed his articles of clerkship at Mallesons Stephen Jacques and was later admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria.
Josh was also a Senior Adviser to both Foreign Minister Alexander Downer and Prime Minister John Howard. He returned to the private sector in 2005 as Director of Global Banking at Deutsche Bank AG.
