Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS) 2020

Main Speaker: Stephen Campbell, Associate Director, KPMG, Financial Risk Management

This session will be a high-level overview of GIPS 2020, an update on the Pooled funds Guidance Statement and Supplemental Information Guidance Statement, GIPS 2020 conference questions and answers.

Stephen Campbell is an Associate Director in KPMG Advisory’s Financial Risk Management division. Stephen is Vice-Chair of the P Group Operating Committee and has been a committee member since 2008. Stephen specialises in the provision of Global Investment Performance Standards verifications and related technical advice. Stephen also provides a range of investment risk management related advisory services to the investment management industry.

FSC Standard 6

Speaker: Stuart Hoy, Product Manager, (Australia and New Zealand) Investment Information Services at JP Morgan Chase

This session will provide a brief update on FSC Standard 6, which was last updated in June 2005. With the introduction of Superannuation Reporting Standards under the government’s Stronger Super program and the evolution of industry best-practice in relation to unit pricing, an update to FSC Standard 6 is necessary. An update will be provided on the review of FSC Standard 6 presently being undertaken by the FSC P Group Expert Committee.
