Can you imagine what it’s like to spend the day at a mountain lake carved by glaciers? To gaze across one of the longest continually inhabited countries in the world?

Rising majestically from the rainforests of the East African plains, the snow-capped peak of Kilimanjaro is a breathtaking sight. To stand at its summit is to literally stand on top of the world.

On this 12-day adventure, you will be pushed to your limit as you climb through five different climatic zones with the support of experienced guides.

Trekking from cultivated farmlands to lush rainforest, through alpine meadow and across the barren lunar-like landscape to the summit, you’ll witness the incredible sight of the sun rising over the East African plains below.

With your challenge complete, you may choose to extend your travels with an optional 4-day safari adventure (additional cost). Marvel at the flamingo-lined Lake Manyara, visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and embark on an exciting game drive through the Serengeti. Alternatively, you will begin the return journey to Australia feeling proud of your achievements, and knowing you’ve made a lasting difference to the lives of disadvantaged Australian youth.
