Emerge is such a strong advocate for women in Timor and we would love to introduce a greater balance in the audience to the charity through our events.

The Emerge Foundation is a charity run pro bono by financial advisors and executives of the industry. The charity empowers women through the scholarship program. It is allowing young women from marginalised backgrounds to study at university to become teachers and nurses.
So far 1092 teachers and 400 nurses have graduated on our scholarships over the last 16 years.

Our Future in Youth program has 5000 children in 32 schools playing sport.

The teachers training college and the clinic are run by a group of dedicated Australians who believe we are indebted to Timor for their sacrifice in losing 40 000 people in 1942 as they backed our troops against the Japanese.
