The new Practitioner Adviser Forums have been designed by advisers for advisers. The aim is to share ideas and best practice amongst peers in a social community environment and to provide support irrespective of business stage, size or structure. Most importantly it is to unite local practitioner advisers to ensure no one feels they are alone in the ever changing financial advice landscape.

Who: Members, support staff & associates

On the day we would like to discuss hosting a local advisers forum going forward and would like to know:

• What they would like to get out of such a forum.
• How often they would like to meet
• Who would like to contribute / share knowledge

The forum will be adviser driven and key areas will be covered off.

Possible Topics of discussion:

• Changes to legislation and how they impact businesses – the sharing of ideas on how to make changes without too much disruption
• Staffing – problems and solutions
• Aged Care
• The emotional side of succession planning
• The emotional side of insurance claims
• Technology for small practices that increase efficiency and don’t greatly decrease the bank balance
• Advisers who specialise in any particular field are welcome to talk about their specialty and to share information
