Hot business tip number 17: Learn from leading advisers

From
Learn from the leaders.

Learn from the leaders.

Zurich has sponsored the AFA Adviser of the Year award for more than a decade, and over that time we have seen some of Australia’s leading advisers involved as nominees and finalists.

The award process gives us an unprecedented view of how the profession is evolving and allows us to shine a light on industry best practice in all its forms.

Although we see a wide variety of business models and adviser personalities, without exception these advisers have a common trait – and that is their willingness to share the secrets of their success with their peers.

Zurich provides many outlets for these ‘insights from the top’ to be shared, including a selection of videos, which can be found at adviseroftheyear.com.au, and articles and case studies in our regular ZXpress and Risk Pulse newsletters.

In conjunction with the AFA, Zurich has also commissioned three pieces of research by the Beddoes Institute, involving more than1,000 clients of Adviser of the Year finalists. The research was subsequently published as a series of whitepapers, the first of which – ‘Pathways to Excellence’ – set out to identify the DNA of leading advisers and leading practices, and as such, is essential reading for any adviser looking to get on the track to success in 2015 and beyond.
