Midwinter Financial Services has today announced that it has made a key hire within its Business Development team, appointing Esther Moseley to the position of Senior Business Development Manager – Enterprise.
Ms Moseley brings to Midwinter 15 years of experience within the financial planning space, specifically significant experience with financial planning software – having previously held positions at both Decimal and COIN.
In particular, Ms Moseley’s role will be centred toward engaging with Midwinter’s digital clients, as the software firm edges closer to the release of its Digital Advice Framework.
In addition to this, Midwinter has added two other members to its Digital Advice team – Barry Rome (Project Management and Business Analyst) and Sam Khanjar (Senior Software Developer).
Midwinter has brought the extra staff on to cater for the increased demand coming from advisers and institutions for its Digital Advice Framework which is expected to be completed in Q1 2016.
Midwinter also anticipates increased adviser demand as a result of releasing version two of its open API document, which has allowed a number of third parties (such as SuiteBox released recently and an additional 4 partners coming on over the next few months) to integrate with its state-of-the-art software offering – AdviceOS.
Managing Director of Midwinter, Julian Plummer has said of the recent hires “We have received a great deal of interest of our upcoming digital advice framework, and having people like Esther on board is critical for us for the initial engagement phase of the process.”
“With the first phase of our Digital Advice Framework coming to completion, we are working closely with our clients to ensure that they are first out of the blocks when it comes to implementing their digital transformation.”
“One thing that has been become increasingly evident is that Licensees are reaching out some for guidance in how to implement digital advice into their business models, and having someone like Esther on board is helping us have those conversations.”
Esther Moseley has expressed enthusiasm about the new role, saying “It’s exciting to be joining a business which puts so much focus on innovation and technological transformation within the financial planning sector and I look forward to being a part of their next chapter.”
