Investment consultant, AZ Sesante, has appointed Paul Saliba as Senior Portfolio Manager and signaled plans to bolster its investment team and capabilities, coinciding with the group’s tenth anniversary.
Saliba, who boasts over 25 years of experience across investment management, portfolio construction and equity research, will report to AZ Sestante Chairman and Director, Massimo Guiati.
Saliba joins AZ Sesante from SQM Research where he was Sector Head Equities and Fixed Income. Prior to that, he held senior investment positions at AMP and Insignia Financial (formerly IOOF).
At AMP, he played a key role in the management of over $2 billion in managed accounts and model portfolios, and served on the group’s research investment committee. At IOOF, Saliba held a variety of roles including Head of Equities and Portfolio Construction, and managed over $2.5 billion in multi-asset portfolios for advice subsidiaries including Bridges Financial Services and SFG Australia.

Saliba’s appointment follows the addition of Vilma Attanasio to the position of Director of Sales and Distribution earlier in the year. Attanasio leads AZ Sesante’s distribution strategy, with responsibility for expanding national partnerships and driving growth.
