Omniwealth has appointed Duncan Barber as Managing Partner of its Business Advisory team to bolster its holistic credentials: “We now have clients who come in for a whole day to review business, SMSF and estate/succession planning with our team”
Duncan was previously a founder of Grange Business Partners. Duncan echoes Matthew Kidd’s views. “The idea of a one touch point solution for business clients was a key part of the attraction for me with the Omniwealth model.
“Having a complete advice team in one place working together and thinking about their clients means that the complexities of SME businesses and their owner’s personal wealth needs can be strategically managed from all facets of their financial services needs,” said Duncan Barber, Partner, Omniwealth.
Kelly Reedman, also formerly of Grange, joins as a Business Advisory partner. Kelly and her team will work across all Omniwealth clients seeking opportunities to develop their businesses and wealth. With the growth of Cloud applications for business owners Kelly has developed a particular niche in helping clients with their management accounting needs and KPI reporting.
“The concept of the Cloud appeals to me as I’m assisting more clients with their businesses and personal holdings being able to access their information in real time. While the concept of the Cloud as a solution for data works, my concerns are around the information management practices that clients use and how to develop that into useful information for the owners,” said Kelly Reedman, Partner, Omniwealth.
