MetLife is continuing to build momentum towards the launch of its retail life insurance offering with a number of new appointments to its retail sales team.
Casey Sugden joins as Senior Sales Manager for Victoria and Tasmania. He will lead MetLife’s engagement with advisers and further build the regional sales team. Mr Sugden joins from Accurium where he was Regional Development Manager, following a number of years at AIA as a Senior Business Development Manager.
The retail team has been further bolstered with the appointment of Charlé Howard as Strategic Account Manager. Ms Howard is responsible for leading MetLife’s engagement with licensee management and research teams nationally. Prior to taking up this new role, Ms Howard was Strategic Relationship Manager in MetLife’s B2B Relationships team, managing key direct life and group life partners.
Matt Lippiatt, Head of Retail Sales at MetLife, said: “We want to be the partner advisers and licensees rely on to help them navigate the changing world of life insurance for their clients. Charlé and Casey will further strengthen our capabilities, and I’m delighted to welcome them to our retail team.”
