The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is implementing a moratorium on all study transfers for insurance professionals impacted by Cyclone Alfred, for the month of March.
At ANZIIF, we recognise the immense responsibility placed on the insurance sector, and we understand that many insurers are mobilising their teams to support clients and prepare for what is to come. In this time of uncertainty, we want to offer our support to the industry.
By introducing this moratorium, we aim to ease some of the pressure on insurance professionals, allowing them to focus on the urgent and important tasks at hand.
If any of our students or members require additional support during this time, we encourage them to contact our customer service team at [email protected] or +61 (3) 9613 7200 to discuss their specific circumstances.
Our thoughts are with the communities and individuals affected by this catastrophe, as well as to the dedicated professionals who are working tirelessly on the ground to assist in the regions most at risk.
“In times of crisis, the insurance industry plays a crucial role in supporting communities and businesses. Our heart goes out to those affected by the cyclone, as well as the insurance professionals working hard to support their communities during this catastrophe. We stand ready to support our members and the wider industry during this challenging time,” says Katrina Shanks, CEO of ANZIIF.
