ANZIIF host in-person AGM and launch Member Connect Networking event in May

The Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) is pleased to invite members to its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM), followed by the newly launched Member Connect networking event this May.

For the first time since 2019, ANZIIF’s AGM will return to an in-person format, offering members the chance to reconnect face-to-face. This is a unique opportunity for the ANZIIF community to come together to reflect on the past year, celebrate achievements, and look ahead to the future of the organisation and the wider insurance industry.

Following the AGM, and the announcement of a new President and Vice President, ANZIIF will debut its premier Member Connect networking event. Designed to foster professional relationships, this event will bring together insurance professionals to build meaningful industry connections.

Recent ANZIIF graduates who have recently completed a qualification are also invited to attend and collect their certificates in person.

The AGM and networking event will take place on 14 May 2025 at 12-Micron in Sydney, NSW.

AGM: 12:30pm-1:30pm
Member Connect Networking session: 1:35pm-2:30pm

“The new Member Connect events are designed to bring our members together, foster meaningful connections, and facilitate their engagement with the broader ANZIIF community. It’s a space where new conversations can begin, ideas can be shared, and a sense of belonging within the industry can grow,” says Katrina Shanks, CEO of ANZIIF.
